The four-day-long event, ‘WWW Festive Bazaar’, organized by Women Who Win, turned out to be one of the most successful and popular events of the season in Powai. An exhibition beyond the usual frames of exhibiting products was designed, drafted, planned and executed by the Founders, Ms. Simmi Bhasin and Ms. Iza Jameel; with the purpose of promoting enterprising women entrepreneurs. The staff of Shagun Art Gallery, where the event was held confirmed that they have not witnessed such footfall and excitement inspite of heavy rains, that graced the hours of the WWW Festive Bazaar. More than 15 women entrepreneurs exhibited and participated in the event, representing thirteen brands.
Branding was the key element during the complete event organization and execution. All the exhibitors participated with a positive approach towards building their brand and were extremely happy with the visibility and exposure they gained during the event promotions and the event itself. Iza Jameel, the co-Founder of Women Who Win and a reputed Brand Expert, designed the entire online and offline marketing strategy for the event; including individual brand promotions for the participants. The participants not only benefitted by the group effort and credibility, but they also gained from the month long promotional activities.
Ms. Simmi Bhasin, the Founder of Women Who Win, proved her strength again by orchestrating the entire event coordinates seamlessly. The visitors included a charismatic mix of social activists and celebrities. The event was inaugurated by Ms. Simran Deenz Ahuja, Mrs. India 2013 and Mrs. Earth 2014. The second phase of the event was graced by Ms. Elsie Gabriel, Founder of the Elsie Gabriel Young Environmentalists Trust. Moonmoon Mukherjee, a renowned table tennis player who has represented India in the Commonwealth and has won several championships & Ms. Aparajita Jha, Finalist Gladrags Mrs. India 2015 was the guest of honour on the final day of the event.
WWW Festive Bazaar exhibitors were overwhelmed by the number and class of visitors, despite the monsoons. Along with the direct buyers, each exhibitor also met a bunch of potential clients, being the part of Women Who Win. As one of the exhibitor, Priyanka Dhanwatay said, “Exhibiting with Women Who Win was not just about selling products, but we developed great relationships with the women who walked-in. We had the brand name of WWW with us that brought in immediate credibility and every person who walked in was engulfed with the warmth of the group. Simmi’s charm and her genuine approach taught us how to create lasting relationships in a professional manner.” Priyanka is the owner of Cup-a-Licious, a brand that represents yummy desserts in unique packaging. Her desserts-in-a-bottle was a huge hit during the event.
Pooja, the entrepreneur who started Holistic Fun Learning with the great vision of inculcating reading habits in children along with developing their knowledge and skills, was spellbound by the response to her brand during the event. She joined WWW immediately and here iswhat she has to say, “Women Who Win is wonderful platform and the Founders are doing a commendable job by assisting and promoting women entrepreneurs through various activities, events and learning seminars.” She further adds that she is proud to be a part of the WWW family and feels that more women entrepreneurs should benefit by joining the group. The other exhibitors included Rashmi Chand of Wumaniya, Bhagyashri Patil of Campus to Corporate, Upama Jayaraj an Artist, Shabnam Mehra of Burgundy Box, Anuradha Rao from Oriflame, Mala Rakhecha of ForestKraft, Nehankit Kadakia of Exotticca, Poorvi the casual couture Designer, Poonam Arora of Vann Enterprises, Shivani Khattar and Archana Agarwal.
The camaraderie of the members of Women Who Win was clearly visible during the entire event. Starting from sharing the event on their social media profiles, spreading the word and inviting their friends n family for the event, to being there as volunteers during the event – the members of WWW expressed their strength and trust in their community. In all, the Women Who Win Festive Bazaar was hugely successful and proved to be a happy onset for the upcoming festive season in Mumbai. Women Who Win have announced their next event for the month of August, a full day, hands-on workshop for entrepreneurs on Building their Brands and Scaling up their Revenues. The workshop will be held in Powai on 23rd and 24th August 2015.
