PITARA by Women Who Win was the most recent Festive Bazaar by WWW in Thane. Inaugurated by Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis, Wife of Honourable Chief Minister of Maharashtra. She appreciated and supported the concept of WWW. It was a unique concept – with a display of products & services. Spanning three days Aug 26th – 28th, it was a very well thought through event. Women entrepreneurs of WWW got an opportunity for displaying and selling their products they believe in. Added to this was a continuous string of interactive activities through the day. WWW members who are in services like healing, counselling, kid’s activities, artists, dance workshops, image consultants, beauty and beauty products had the opportunity to demonstrate their craft through the Activity Centre. The Eco-Ganesha workshop was a big hit, with Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner.
The Activity Centre was a unique spin to the event as it made the event a buzzing and enjoyable family event. There was something every hour – a workshop, a fun activity or a talk. The stall owners were there with their families & friends engaged in various activities. There was something for every age group.
In keeping with the Vision Statement – We Connect, Nurture to Empower Women Entrepreneurs, we have conviction, that the “connecting and nurturing” is in the NOW & is not some futuristic destination. To weave this philosophy into the mission of WWW, we crafted a cozy & an informal way of getting women to connect with each other through Network Meets. WWW has proudly organised over 25 networking meets so far.
Two years on since inception, WWW also forayed into the arena of organizing “Festive Bazaars” and has organised two Festive Bazaars in Powai to empower Women entrepreneurs.
