Simmi Bhasin moved to Mumbai, leaving her well established career, life and friendships in Delhi. She arrived in a new city, recreated the home she and her family could derive the warmth from; trying to maintain her bonds in Delhi and re-establishing her recruitment business in the new city. A person of immense warmth, with an inborn ability to connect with people and making lifelong friends; she felt the need of a community where women may find the support they seek in similar situations. The positive person that she always has been – she decided to make the start, she just didn’t know how ?
In year 2013 she got selected for the prestigious ISB Goldman Sachs 10K Entrepreneurial program. She conceptualised the plan of Women Who Win (Community for Women Entrepreneurs, Freelancers and Professionals). She launched it on 8th March 2013, International Women’s Day. She got a great response and since then there is no looking back. Lot of hard work and sweat has gone into this project. Just after a year on 8th March 2015, she was awarded as “Women Achievers Award” for creating a community of serious business women and professionals.
